Services Conference Federation (SCF 2021)

International Conference on Big Data (BigData 2021)
http://BigDataCongress.org/2021 , December 10 - 14, 2021

Theme: Data Services for Digital Transformation

Introduction of BigData

As cloud computing turning computing and software into commodity services, everything as a service in other words, it leads to not only a technology revolution but also a business revolution. Insights and impacts of various types of services (infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, software as a service, business process as a service) have to be re-examined. The 2021 International Conference on Big Data (BigData 2021) aims to provide an international forum that formally explores various business insights of all kinds of value-added "services" based on data. Big Data is a key enabler of exploring business insights and economics of services. Part of the SCF 2018, BigData 2018 was successfully held on June 25 - June 30, 2018, Seattle, USA. Part of the SCF 2019, BigData 2019 was successfully held on June 25 - 30, 2019, San Diego, USA. Part of the SCF 2020, BigData 2020 was successfully held on September 18 - 20, 2020 over the Internet. In 2021, we will celebrate our 2021 version of gathering, to strive to advance the largest international professional forum on big data and all kinds of data services.

BigData 2021 is a member of Services Conference Federation (SCF). SCF 2021 will have the following 10 collocated service-oriented sister conferences: 2021 International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2021), 2021 International Conference on Cloud Computing (CLOUD 2021), 2021 International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2021), 2021 International Conference on Big Data (BigData 2021), 2021 International Conference on AI & Mobile Services (AIMS 2021), and 2021 World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2021), 2021 International Conference on Internet of Things (ICIOT 2021), 2021 International conference on Cognitive Computing (ICCC 2021), 2021 International Conference on Edge Computing (EDGE 2021), and 2021 International Conference on Blockchain (ICBC 2021).

As the founding member of the Services Conference Federation (SCF), the first International Conference on Web Services (ICWS) was held in June 2003 in Las Vegas, USA. Meanwhile, the First International Conference on Web Services - Europe 2003 (ICWS-Europe 2003) was held in Germany in October 2003. ICWS-Europe'03 is an extended event of the 2003 International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2003) in Europe. In 2004, ICWS-Europe was changed to the European Conference on Web Services (ECOWS), which was held at Erfurt, Germany.

Sponsored by Services Society and Springer, SCF 2018 and SCF 2019 were held successfully in Seattle and San Diego, USA. SCF 2020 was held successfully online and in Shenzhen, China. To celebrate its 19-year-old birthday, SCF 2021 will be held on December 10 - 14, 2021.

Conference Proceedings

The Proceedings of BigData 2021 will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer International Publishing AG. The Best Paper Awards will be sponsored by Springer, which is a leading global scientific, technical and medical portfolio, providing researchers in academia, scientific institutions and corporate R&D departments with quality content through innovative information, products and services.

Extended versions of selected papers will be invited for special issues in the Services Transactions on Internet of Things (STIOT)Services Transactions on Big Data (STBD)Services Transactions on Services Computing (STSC)Services Transactions on Cloud Computing (STCC)International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR), and International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management (IJBPIM). JWSR is indexed by SCI and EI [Link].

Topics

BigData 2021 organizing committee invites you to participate in 2021 edition of AIMS, to be held on December 10 - 14, 2021.

BigData 2021's major topics include but not limited to: Big Data Architecture, Big Data Modeling, Big Data As A Service, Big Data for Vertical Industries (Government, Healthcare, etc.), Big Data Analytics, Big Data Toolkits, Big Data Open Platforms, Economic Analysis, Big Data for Enterprise Transformation, Big Data in Business Performance Management, Big Data for Business Model Innovations and Analytics, Big Data in Enterprise Management Models and Practices, Big Data in Government Management Models and Practices, and Big Data in Smart Planet Solutions.

The technical program of BigData 2021 will include a Research Track, an Application Track, and a Short Paper Track. The BigData 2021 tracks seeks original, UNPUBLISHED research papers reporting substantive new work in various aspects of data-based services. Research Track papers MUST clearly indicate their contributions to the field of AI or mobile Internet-based technologies, applications and solutions. All papers MUST properly cite related work in the field, such as those published in the proceedings of ICWS, SCC, CLOUD, AIMS, SERVICES, BigData, ICIOT, ICBC, EDGE, APSCC, ECOWS, and related journals including STBD, JWSR, STSC, STCC, STIOT and IJBPIM (see Literature Recommendations page).

In addition, two special tracks (Real-Time Big Data Analytics, and Big Data/Smart Cities) are included for BigData 2021. The special tracks will significantly expand the scope of BigData to include innovative contributions that cover the entire lifecycle of big data research: (1) vision papers to point out emerging challenges, (2) data sets and benchmarks that enable innovative big data research, (3) technical papers that describe significant research output, (4) applications and experience papers that apply and evaluate research methods and tools, and (5) survey papers that organize and summarize important research results and resources. Accordingly, these broadly defined contributions will be evaluated by PC members with special interest and expertise in each phase of the research lifecycle: vision papers, research contributions, applications and experiences, and enabling resources that include data sets, benchmarks, and surveys.

Technical topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

- Big Data Storage
- Big Data Indexing
- Big Data Cleaning
- Big Data Modeling
- Big Data Analytics
